How We Decided on the Prest-O-Fit Aero-Weave Breathable Outdoor Mat
When we bought our RV the thought of buying an outdoor mat didn’t cross our minds. But a few months later we did a complete about-face, convinced that all RVers must have an outdoor patio mat.
In the beginning we set our RV up in a nice tidy park in Southern CA with paved patios. We felt no need to buy a mat as our new furniture was sitting on a clean cement pad.
Fast forward a month or so and we found trails of ants making their way across our outdoor patio and all over our patio furniture. Then in the fall, the Santa Ana winds blew dust all over our site.

Since we planned to trek around quite a bit, we wanted something lightweight, durable, mildew resistant, and easy to clean. Plus, we’re visual, and wanted it to match our RV’s color scheme.
We measured our ideal patio space and started looking for something in the 6’x15′ size range.
Our Solution
We lucked out by finding the Presto-Fit Aero-Weave Breathable Outdoor Mat right away. It had all the features we wanted and even came in the right size and color, so we bought it.
It’s made from PVC-coated polyester mesh, so it’s very strong and durable. It’s a weave pattern, which lets sunlight, dirt, water, and air flow through into the ground. That means you can literally hose the patio mat off to clean it – even after you’ve folded it up.
The pattern does makes it less than ideal for sand, as the sand can and will come through the mat. On every other surface we’ve found the grid pattern to be ideal. It holds most outdoor debris down so you don’t track it into your RV. Our New Patio

Cons:
